The Former Wilbur Chocolate Factory · Lititz, Pennsylvania

Sleep where the sweetness was made.

For a century, the brick factory on North Broad Street perfumed this town with roasting cocoa. Today its beams and bricks hold seventy-four of the most character-rich rooms in Lancaster County — a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in the heart of America's Coolest Small Town.

From Cocoa to Comfort

A factory that never really stopped making people happy.

In 1865, H.O. Wilbur began a chocolate company that would sweeten America for generations. Its Lititz factory poured, wrapped and shipped the beloved Wilbur Bud — a foil-wrapped icon that arrived years before its more famous competitor's "kiss."

When the last batch left Broad Street, the town refused to let the building's story end. A meticulous restoration kept the exposed brick, timber bones and factory windows — and refilled them with a landmark hotel.
